Our mission in the community is to embrace all people with love and draw them towards the saving grace of Jesus Christ through fellowship and ministry.
Caerphilly is a large town on the outskirts of Cardiff. The parish has three very active churches that serve the community well. St. Martin’s is the Parish Church with two very beautiful daughter churches – St. Catherine and St. Andrew.
The parish is part of the Diocese of Llandaff in the Province of the Church in Wales and is within the Anglican Communion of churches throughout the world.
The Eucharist is the central act of worship the Christian Church and is therefore celebrated in all three churches on Sunday mornings. We use the modern rite of the Eucharist – Holy Eucharist 2004 – approved by the Governing Body of the Church in Wales in September 2004. Thus the worship is lively, vibrant and serves the modern age well.
There are a number of devotional activities spanning the three churches, from Bible Classes, Prayer Groups, Discussion Groups, Healing Services and weekday celebrations of the Holy Eucharist (Mass).
There is a balance of social activities to compliment the spiritual life of the parish with a varied programme of functions. These can be accessed on the calendar of this website.
A monthly Parish Magazine is published which gives many interesting articles on the life of the parish. Also there is a weekly newsletter called The Weekly Sheet that gives an update of all that is happening on a day to day basis.
A very warm welcome is offered to everyone at our services. Children are welcome, if they make a noise we are glad because we know they are there!
